Serving the West Seattle Community since August 25, 1948

West Seattle Bowl is part of the fabric of the West Seattle Community. We pride ourselves on good service, a friendly staff and providing a clean center with modern technologies to enhance the customer experience. We support fundraising efforts and local schools through discounts for charity bowling events and in-kind donations. Current owners Mike, Andy and Jeff bring more than 100 years combined experience in the bowling industry and are committed to giving back to this wonderful community.

Whether you are looking for a fun activity for your group, a team building activity, being part of a league or a birthday party location, the bowling alley offers a spacious venue along with catering and birthday party packages.

Our history

We started out with 14 lanes and expanded to 32 lanes in 1959. Upgrades over the years include the latest Brunswick scoring system, new furniture and décor, bumpers for kids on every lane and new synthetic lanes.  Recently, new AMF pinsetters were installed replacing nearly 70-year-old original machines and the brand-new VIBE (Video Interactive Bowling Experience) was installed on 18 lanes.

In 2021, the Highstrike Grill dining room was reimagined as the Three 9 Lounge but, you can still order your Highstrike Pub favorites in the Bowling Center, Bar, and downstairs seating.

The NEW Three9 Lounge since its inception has received rave reviews.  Promoting a modern island/beach vibe with a hint of Tiki, new, inspired tropical cuisine and hand-crafted cocktails, the Three9 offers the eternal sunset for people looking for an escape from a “gray” Seattle.  Come visit your new hideaway on the “accidental island”!

We hope to see you soon!
